Our current top 3 priorities for Policing determined by the Parish Council are:
- Speeding remains the Council’s top priority. There has been little if no progress regarding Cllr Shelagh Inglis’ attempts to set up a Community Speedwatch initiative in the parish and police checks at a suitable location in the village, especially at times when Eckington bridge is closed and diversions are in place, which results in additional traffic travelling through the village at excessive speeds.
- Thefts (general).
- Thefts (farming).
Residents are welcome to attend a Parish Council meeting or email the clerk if they feel these priorities should be changed.
